It's Easter Monday!!
And yes it's a bank holiday - but I don't work in a bank! Run Rhaw is on as always.
Not being a religious chap myself I don't really follow this type of thing, however some may be! So after reading the bible all day for something suitable I stumbled across Matthew 14:13. This isn't how many strava segments Matthew has tried to do this week, apparently it's a scripture in the bible so here is what I took form it;
A crowd follows Jesus because of his teachings.
The people become hungry and there is nowhere near around to buy food.
A boy is found who has 5 loaves of bread and two fish.
Jesus shares them to the crowd.
The food multiplies.
And here we have the loaves and fish session - 5 min efforts and then two minute efforts.

And when you think of the food multiplying - that's what happens with each session or run you do. It adds on and on, and over time your fitness multiplies. Whilst you may not need to have enough food to feed 5000 men, if you stick at it and be consistent, and keep on showing up, your fitness will increase and you'll get through that 5000M park run no bother.
Run Rhaw - running coach, no a minister.
