Almost a quarter of the way through the year!
If you're still sitting reading these emails and you haven't come along to a session yet, thank you for still sticking around and reading the emails! Hopefully there are a few takeaways you can use in your own training and more to come that will help you along the way.
Something to think about if you're not a coached runner when you are looking at your training is progressive overload.
You need to be making things progressively harder in order to make improvements - running at the same pace week on week won't make you any faster. If you're running the same sessions all the time then a simple way to do this is to add an extra rep or two, or reduce the recovery slightly between the intervals, or make the reps slightly longer than your usual.
That simple thing will make you work that little bit harder and get a little bit stonger, and will get you a much greater return on your time out training.
And if you're looking for any specific help, then you can get in touch with me via this website.
