It's almost my favourite time of the week!
This week will be one of the last weeks without a head torch before the clocks change and we start training almost exclusively under darkness.
Winter gives you a choice - it's easy to ease off and hit that snooze button when the weather isn't as great and the mornings and nights are dark.
But every week at half 5 on a Monday we will be running loops. Let's keep at it as the weather makes it a little harsher. Whatever the clouds and all that.
Here's this weeks session;
Increase the pace as the reps get shorter to make the most of this session.
Remember the Argyle Mile is on this coming Thursday - there won't be entries on the night so sign up beforehand.
This is a great way to test yourself over the distance - we will be doing this again once the clocks are about to change to spring time. It's a good way to judge your winter training. There is also a prize of a place at the Acorn South by Five Pollok Park Race. This will be by a drawn number in relation to finish position so it doesn't favour the 'faster' runners.
All Run Rhaw sessions and events are suitable for anyone. If you run a 5 minute mile or if you run an 18 minute mile you have the same chance of winning. Come along and be part of it.
Whatever your level, whatever the clouds.
